This Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) is to form an Alliance for the Yonge North Subway Extension - Stations, Rail and Systems Project. The YNSE SRS scope includes (but is not limited to) the design, construction, supply, integration, and commissioning of the following key elements: Five-(5) new subway stations, two-(2) bus main terminals and three-(3) bus facilities, Ancillary infrastructure such as six-(6) emergency exit buildings, six-(6) traction power substations, and seven-(7) cross passages; All rail systems equipment including track, ventilation, signalling and automatic train control (“ATC”) system, communications, integrated control systems and the backbone communications network (“BCN”), traction power, other permanent mechanical and electrical systems, safety and security systems including intrusion detection and emergency trip system, fare collection and enforcement equipment compatible and integrated with the TTC Line 1 fare collection system (i.e., “PRESTO”), provisions for platform edge doors, conduit and cabling work, USS facilities, special trackwork, utility relocations, emergency and life safety facilities, A train storage facility with associated rail car facility building and transportation facility building; Interface elements such as the Finch transition structure between the existing Finch station and the extraction shaft between Finch Avenue and Drewry/Cummer Avenue along with integration with existing infrastructure and systems and the modification of existing tail track at Finch station, and Provisions to enable transit-oriented community (“TOC”) work, which may include, but are not limited to, overbuild protection, accounting for adjacent loads, mechanical Systems interface, knock out panels;
